SUCCESS CASE SPOTLIGHT: WFI City College
For over 40 years, nonprofit WFI City College has helped people find their fit. City College provides industry-driven career programs in a supportive, engaging and vibrant learning community. What’s more, their aim is not only to help our graduates gain employment, but to help them build fulfilling lives. They offer 3 highly sought after programs, including a world-class web design program, a medical office assistant program, and a computer specialist program.
WFI City College was receiving absolutely zero digital leads and was in the middle of a brand identy crisis. It lacked professional marketing services, branding, and the college’s website was dated and was quite opposite of appealing.
It makes sense that precisely 0 quality propspects submitted their contact information or were interested in learning about their industry-driven programs. They didn’t even have any analytics with regards to their website or engagement.
The solution to their flat non-brand and lack of professional enrollment marketing led to the creation and execution of a SMARTER marketing plan
The first two phases of work was to get WFI City College to a baseline with their digital presence and main lead generator – their website. We implemented SEO best practices, a secure certificate (SSL), and setup lead capture forms. We implemented analytics and followed mobile-first principles.
We worked with Philadelphia’s largest nonprofit, the Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC), to migrate the new website over with ease.
From a brand refresh to a complete website overhaul and the execution and planning of a SMARTER marketing strategy, their new website immediately began generating an unprecedented amount of targeted traffic and engagement.
- Within 48 hours, WFI City College received their first-ever lead from the wficitycollege.org website.
- Google updated its cache of the homepage and updated the new URL to the secure variation – within 12 hours. We’ve never before seen such a rapid crawl and re-indexing of a search result before. Ever.
